Savary Island, BC’s tropical isle, is located at the top of the Sunshine Coast just below Desolation Sound in the Strait of Georgia, BC Canada. It is six miles long and one mile wide at it’s widest. We boast many miles of white sand beach and the surrounding ocean waters are warm and clean.
There are about seventy of us living full time on the island with most cabin owners and visitors arriving during the summer months. It is a true summer retreat for most.
Savary Island has no regular electricity, the roads are not paved, and our water comes from wells. We do have a Volunteer Fire Dept., First Responders and a few extra amenities:
Summer only: Savary Island General Store, Riggers Restaurant, Bike Rentals, Chocolate Lily Restaurant (now offers limited off season menus).
Year Round: Lund Water Taxi, Little Church in the Woods, Grumpy’s Garage and SG Images Gift Shop.
